Can my application for international protection be implicitly withdrawn?

Yes, your application for international protection can be implicitly withdrawn if it has been proven that:

• You have not responded to requests to provide essential information or you did not attend an interview,
• You have left or escaped your assigned residence or you have been placed in retention and you have not contacted the minister within 24 hours or if you have not respected your obligation to present yourself to the MAEE on a monthly basis

In this case, the rules concerning the return to your country of origin are applied as you lose the status of applicant for international protection.
